World War, 1939-1945, photograph collection. - 1924-1953; predominant1939-1945.
Most of the photographs in this collection pertain to World War II. Some material relates to the Korean War (1950-1953), the Second Moroccan War (1920-1926), and the post-WW II period.

Series 1
War: World War II in Europe. - 1936-1949. - 3,344 photographs, 102 printing tools (plates, blues, etc.), 8 newspaper inserts, 3 press releases and 1 letter pertaining to WWII on the European Front. - Although most of the photographs are from Europe, there are photographs taken in North America, South America, Africa and the Middle East.
