de Boesner, Baron

Baron de Boesner collection. -- 1819-1820. -- 7 letters.

Baron de Boesner was an Austrian banker and perhaps a diplomat. Around 1807 he was in the employ of le comte de la Fare, Bishop of Nancy, for the business affairs of King Louis XVIII in relation to the court of Vienna.

The collection consists of letters addressed to William and Thomas Raikes and Co., and concern credit and payment arrangements.
