F.1       Correspondence between Capt. R.M. Robertson and Whyte, 1922-1925. They do not like early drafts of the official history and hope that they “may be able to evolve something better.” The last letter from Robertson notes that J.H Lindsay, the author of the official history The London Scottish in the Great War which was published in 1925, “has made it what I call wooden.”
