Peace Pledge Union Summer School, Langham, 1938. [According to Anthony Barclay, Langham was purchased as a refugee camp for Basque children during the Spanish Civil War and was later used to house refugees from German bombing.]
4th. from the left in print dress with a dark hat on the back of the chair is Vera Brittain.
7th. from the left with a cup and saucer at his feet is John Barclay.
