Canadian Orchestra conductor Boris Brott donated his archives to McMaster University. His gift was recognized with a special concert on May 25 where he conducted the National Academy Orchestra of Canada founded by him in 1989. The William Ready Division of Archives and Research Collections is pleased to house Brott’s archives and to make them publicly accessible. Recently the library has received additional archives from him. Brott, a Montreal native has made Hamilton his home for 40 years, and has conducted all over the world. His archives join McMaster’s other international and Canadian music collections.
