St. Bartholomew Anglican Church

St. Bartholomew Anglican Church (Hamilton, Ont.) fonds. – 1960-2000. – 14 cm of textual records.

The decision to create a new parish in the rapidly growing West Mountain area was made in August 1960. Rev. J.D. Rathbone was appointed rector and services were held first on Sanatorium Road and later at Mohawk Trail Public School. Construction began on the parish hall in September 1960 and the first services were held in the hall in January 1961. The church is located on Mohawk Road West at Garth Street. In June of 2000 St. Bartholomew along with St. Timothy's on Stone Church Road were both disestablished and the parishes were merged to form the Church of the Resurrection which is located on the former grounds of St. Bartholomew.

Fonds consists of parish registers containing statistical records. Fonds has been microfilmed.
